TIMELINE
The history of Zerdesign dates back to 1964, when its founder, Nikolaos Zerdes, an expert in advertising and technical services, established the company “ZERDES” in a three-story neoclassical building located at 27 Koumoundourou Street in Athens, adjacent to the National Theatre.
The company operates as a vertically integrated unit in the signage and neon industry, offering complete production and installation solutions for businesses and industry professionals.
In the years that followed, Zerdesign expanded its reach through collaboration with advertising agencies, taking on the construction of numerous exhibition stands at the Thessaloniki International Fair. The company also secured strategic partnerships with renowned brands such as Coca-Cola, National Insurance, Esso Pappas, Agrotiki Zois, Agrotiki Insurance, and Pirelli, providing services for their networks nationwide and, in some instances, across Balkan countries.
In 1964, the company was established with the purpose of manufacturing neon signs and illuminated displays.
In 1970, ZERDES , prioritizing international expansion, began to target foreign markets and became actively involved in the production of signage in Libya.
In 1984, ZERDES established its operations in new owned facilities in the Agioi Anargyroi area, occupying a four-story building designed for vertically integrated production.
In 2012, the company was officially rebranded as ZERDESIGN and undertook a comprehensive modernization of its mechanical equipment.
In 2019 the company implemented new project management tools across the entire production spectrum to increase process productivity.
In 2020, Zerdesign expanded its operations by relocating its production to a new industrial facility in Kamatero.
This factory serves as a model of modern practices, designed to be both employee-friendly and environmentally sustainable, positioning Zerdesign as an industry leader in advertising structures across the Balkans.
Today, Zerdesign exports to more than 12 countries across Europe and Asia, continuously optimizing its production processes at every level and stage.
